Large Wall Calendar began in 2014 as a type specimen. The design was conceived as a response to the classic modern Stendig Calendar I had been using for the prior ten years. In the context of our highly mobile, digital culture, my first-person understanding of the purpose of a wall calendar had evolved.

A paper calendar isn’t needed to keep track of time. Instead, it must dance with time and create conversations of value. Each year, the Large Wall Calendar is reimagined. Each year, it makes new formal statements and poses new questions.
