If there’s one genre of literature that shaped my childhood, if was science fiction. So when I was asked to illustrate a cover for the Retrun Policy series, I jumped at the chance. A working draft of the novel and a few conversations with the author gave me all the inspiration I needed. By the time I was finished, I’d studied the gate of quadrupeds and learned about quantum mechanics. More than anything, it was fun.
