Sonneteer was first conceived by photographer Doug Fogelson in 2003. The idea was simple: create a book of nine chapters, each one a visual meditation on an element of the built environment – infrastructure, apertures, construction, roads, pathways, sprawl, fences, electricity, and restitution. I was one of nine designers invited to participate.

After completing a chapter on sprawl, I collaborated on the cover and overall book design. The book was published in a perfect-bound softcover edition in 2007 by Front Forty Press.

Sonneteer was a 2007 USA Book News and London Book Festival finalist.
